I crinkle sometimes too

I bought Duke a toy in the last week of his life. He always got so excited when I came home with bags and he always knew there would be something in them for him. If I wasn't quick to give him something he would search the bags himself (if he could reach them). So I was hoping that a new toy would brighten his day. He carried it around in his mouth for an entire day but not once did it get shaken. It did crinkle a bit.

I haven't had the heart to get rid of any of his toys and since this one is brand new and barely been played with I thought I would do some playing with it. I added a little texture and did a few adjustments.

This last one I added added a different edge and cloned out the I crinkle sticker.

Just because one crinkles a bit doesn't mean they still aren't foxy

Some of us continue to crinkle, but in my case, it seems to be joints snap crackle and popping. tee-hee

Such a sweet toy - you should definitely keep it!
Sammy gets excited when I come home with bags too :)

At least he enjoyed it a little. I agree that you should save it for a new dog in your life one day. We have a closet of things for that purpose although we're not any closer to adding a new family member yet.

"Just because one crinkles a bit doesn't mean they still aren't foxy" Brilliant - that belongs on a poster.

I don't think Duke would mind seeing the next pup playing with his toys. In fact, I am quite sure he would be greatly disappointed if he didn't see another fluffball romping around his house much sooner than later.

Don't throw his toys away. Each one tells a story. You know the story too.

Have a terrific Friday my friend. ♥♥♥

Don't you dare get rid of his toys! They are not yours...besides a crinkle here and there means it was loved!!!...:)JP

Ahhh--what a sweet toy.. Save it.. That's another way you can keep Duke alive... You can name this one --and he can become part of the family...

I have a friend who has a 'car dog' ---that lives in her car and goes with her everywhere she goes... You might do that with 'Crinkle'.... Love him...

Hugs,
Betsy

It's very cute. I thought it was cats that liked things to crinkle.

Betsy's idea is sweet. :) I'm still sending hugs to you from me.

That is a cute toy. We always made a big deal about presenting our Buddy with new toys, and he would literally jump for joy when we brought one home. Balls were his favorites. He even had his own toy box! I recommend that you keep a few as a remembrance.
