Winter

I've decided that winter is a cold and cruel reminder of just how old and out of shape I really am. The snow started again Saturday morning. I shoveled and then decided to take some pictures before returning to hibernation. Then of course this would be repeated throughout the day only minus the picture taking.

It will be off to work this morning and then home for a quiet and uneventful New Years eve where I fall asleep long before the stroke of midnight. See you all next year.

How much snow did you get, anyway? I love your bird condo! And this is your house? I have never seen the entire house before, it is very nice. Split level, right? Do they call them something different nowadays? It is a real beauty!

i have the same plans as you, but not pictures in the snow or going to work, the part about being asleep long before the new year pops in and the old out. i do not want to see or feel this snow but the photos are really beautiful.. they have a touch of magic in them.

I do really like the edits - and as I have said before, I love snow pictures as long as someone else is taking them outside their house. Happy New Year, Ann...

This is the only way I like snow. Someone else has the snow not me.

Have a fabulous day and a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Oh my....be careful out there! Wishing you a Happy New Year. We normally don't go out but we will stay up and watch the New Year's shows and toast in the New Year with champagne.

I think of you every time I see the news and weather reports knowing you got so much snow and cold weather. I love snow just not in the quantities you are dealing with and all of the trouble associated with it. Stay cozy if you can. Happy New Year wishes!

I fell asleep at 10:30 on NYE. I didn't even bother trying to stay up, although I did wake up briefly when the fireworks were going off at midnight!
