flower power

Saturday while I was in Walmart I looked at all the beautiful flowers they had on sale for mother's day. I couldn't help but take some pictures with my cell phone. The picture in yesterday's post was of some of these flowers with a little photoshop magic.

Here's a collage of the pictures I took

If you follow me on facebook you probably already know about these.
I made a total of 48 of these pins. I took some to work on Tuesday and Wednesday to pass out to some of the girls I work with so they could wear them all week. Yesterday I took the rest of them to work with me and passed them out to mothers who were shopping in the store. It was fun for me and I think they were pleasantly surprised when I offered them one. There was only one lady who seemed a bit indifferent to the whole thing. Makes no difference though, I enjoyed giving them out.

Who would have ever thought these flowers are from Wal-Mart? Yours are absolutely gorgeous!! You are so sweet, sharing these with moms!

So what you did was to spread a little joy around, nothing wrong with that, I like it.
Beautiful flowers.

your flowers are as pretty as the real flowers. I looked at all the WM flowers and they were 15 and 20 dollars. I remember just a couple of years ago they were 4 to 10 dollars. they were as pretty as yours are but I did not take photos. I may be ILL

Your flower pics are very pretty. It was so thoughtful of you to share your creative craft with co-workers and moms who were shopping. I know you put a lot of smiles on everyone's face!

We stopped at Raley's for some fresh veggies and other items and we couldn't believe how many people were buying flowers and balloons for Mother's day. It seemed a bit late, but the flowers were beautiful.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

LOVE your effect work in the previous post as I see the first photo below the comment pop up window!!

How sweet of you to make all these corsages for the ladies at work and the shoppers at the bakery. I think that is so generous and cool too!

Hope you had a great weekend, and I am now gonna go catch up reading your blog from my blog hiatus.

Happy Week Ahead to you.

How did you know whether a particular woman was a mother? Or did you just offer the pins to any woman with children along? I hope the indifferent lady at least said Thank You with a smile...

Lovely flowers! I bought some flowers this weekend along with 15 tomato plants. I'll probably regret that when we have tomatoes out the ying yang later this summer! That lady probably wasn't used to such a sweet gesture. I'm glad you enjoyed bringing a smile to all the other ladies!

You are going to town on the pins! Great job. Beautiful flowers at Wally World. I would cover my whole yard in color like that if I did not have to weed it later!!
